We had a very fun family day at the Maple Syrup Festival held at a local Boy Scout Camp. This was Joseph's favorite outing last year, and so we all decided to go and try out the events. There was whistle making, rope twisting, leather engraving, maple syrup education, black smithing and Indian dancing. Bill and Joseph together had fun with tomahawk throwing, and BB gun shooting. Then we ended the day with a horse drawn ride around the camp, which thrilled John and Leesie. They also had fun exploring the grounds and running around outside. The weather was 70 degrees with a cool breeze, about as perfect as we could dream of for early March.
