Our John and Annelise had a spring ballet performance which was really fun to watch. I learned that ballet moms watch from the stage, while they help, and it's just as fun and wonderful as watching from the audience. It's just a bit more tiring! We had rehearsal and lunch and performance, and lots of fun keeping little people 'occupied' while the older girls performed.
It was fun to help them change into their costumes and get stage makeup on (lighting harsh) and have a chance to be in two numbers as well. Each person's personality and charm added to the day. Johnny of course loved being a ham and having a role unto his own.
Elena was very proud of her sister, and enjoyed her roses too.
Father's Day, spent watching the kids perform, being a proud Daddy!
