Summertime and baseball

Baseball season is in full swing. Big boy and little boy having fun, playing hard and learning tons. Two teams for Joseph, pitcher and third baseman. One team his out fielding was his best role. The next team his pitching was his best role. He's learning and growing, taller and faster, and wiser.

Little brother is learning to play the game. He is having so much fun! He is learning not to fear the ball. He always brings much enthusiasm. This year he's starting to understand what to do. Some amazing catches from him! Some serious hitting starting to happen. 

Watching the boys grow through sports training is so rewarding. Daddy is learning about coaching, encouraging, correcting in love. Learning about motivating, and bringing out the skills in a boy, and drawing him on to one day be a man who can dig deep. Who knows Dad is proud no matter what.

Mom is learning (always) about juggling time, and schedules and uniforms, and meals so we can be together and have balance. And we work it out to cheer them on as often as possible, or split when they overlap. Baseball is part of the fabric of spring and summer for us this year.
