We drove all around Oahu, and the kids loved seeing the ocean from different beaches. They loved seeing the coast and the foliage and the mountains, comparing the sunny and the rainy sides of the island, and the different settings of beauty all around.

The mountains are so beautiful on the rainy side, all lush and green, they almost don't seem real.

Every day was fun. One day we toured and explored, the next day we relaxed and swam and slept in. It was a real vacation! Four kids, a nursing baby, kids not strong swimmers yet, and we managed to have a restful, fun vacation that we will always treasure. We only wanted 3 more weeks...
