Happy, healthy little girl who smiles and babbles
Having your first ballet bar, be right where Mom can watch you learn to stand each day
Listening to raspberries being blown happily
Having the finest waitress in pink polkadots ask for your order at the LemonHouse Roadhouse Cafe almost every morning.
Having the finest chef helping cook and working with the waitress in your very own restaurant
Listening to original music.
Having your first hit, in your first season of t-ball!
Finishing your first season, and learning you love to play!
Having a friend with an amazing tree for climbing, and a great imagination, and having all the time in the day to spend up there
Practicing dunking the ball (we won't mention the height of the basket here...)
Learning to throw the ball well with Dad
Pitching and doing well under pressure! Pitching and learning it's okay when you don't do as well under pressure too.
A new chef in the kitchen
Live entertainment during meals
Having hot air balloons close by...and sometimes land on your street in the evenings
There are many more things we are grateful for, but these represent a few. This summer has been busy, full, fun, and very, very challenging. We sometimes forget how wonderful the simple things are, but our kids appreciate them all. So we are learning from them to appreciate each gift as well.
