We have had a season to remind us that life is precious and dear, too short, and not to waste it. Everything good comes from God, and the rest is just our weaknesses and mistakes that will one day disappear. May He multiply our goodness and keep us thankful despite our frailties. And after this season of challenges and adjustments, we hope for a few more wonderful weeks that refill and restore us.
We love the Lord and our dear children so much! We strive to give them a childhood filled with His love and grace.

So Thankful
Today we give thanks for big and small things. We are thankful for a sweet little baby who is precious and wonderful, the biggest gift and change for our family. She is growing fast, nurses better each day, and sleeps pretty well now at night. Sweet Elena is a joy for each of us. We are thankful for our health, for rest, and that all the kids are well too. We are thankful to be together for a quiet day together, with delicious food, and time to be present to each other and have fun.
Our return to routines and predictability, and being home is so nice. We see the kids behaving well, testing us less, and life is easier. We are thankful for time off work for Daddy, for a much needed respite without feeling crummy. This is a fun stay-cation for all of us having him home without being drained by a trip.
