Sweet snuggles on cold days

Johnny and Leesie don't nap anymore, not for about a year now. We often have a quiet time, and the days we forget, Mommy is more frayed by dinner as they ramp up into high energy. But sometimes, especially on these cold days they curl up around the fire with their blankie and fall asleep. I love to see them cozy and happy. So here's Johnny in a little ball, you wouldn't guess he's 4 1/2 by the way he cozies up. 

 Leesie sleeps like a sweet dear, so fragile and feminine. Here is a picture of her just starting to get over a fever. She was so wiped out, but when Johnny was missing her and woke her up she was also so ready to smile.

 The first thing she wanted to do when her four day fever broke, was puppy playdough of course. They love to create little wonderful things with their playdough kits.

 Hooray I feel better, fever all gone. We hadn't seen that smile for several days. Wow was it wonderful to drink in her happy self.
