Thunderstorms-"Hold me Mommy"

We have had some spectacular thunderstorms this past week. The thunder booms very loud and the lightening shows have been quite impressive. The best part for me as a Mom, is my little ones want to be held, especially Johnny. He wants to sleep with me, to be carried and comforted. Last year he slept all night right on my chest, like a little papoose despite being three, and normally not the hugger of the family. I loved every bit of it. Now this year he still wants to snuggle and loves to "be comforted" when the storms come. There's nothing like a little person running across the room to jump into your arms and hold on tight, and be content to stay there for hours when they normally only want a brief hug.  Bring on the storms! Well at least on the days when baseball games aren't scheduled.
