Baseball for Joseph

We had a mostly rained out baseball season this year. The afternoon showers made the fields too wet to play for many games. So the days that were dry and warm were very special. Joseph worked hard on improving his skills from throwing, hitting, running, to just plain focusing on the game. We try to remember they are eight years old and sometimes it's easy to daydream even during your baseball game. Sometimes the one Joseph caught was the imaginary one rather that the real one. But he steadily improved and learned a lot about concentrating and working as a team, and pushing oneself. Dad has had a lot of fun helping teach him learn the game, doing a little part-time coaching and mentoring. Johnny loves to watch and can't wait to play too.
Joseph lays out his uniform early in the day so we aren't late for games. Well for a Mom who had no brothers to see him lay this out complete with protective underwear and cup on top for his little sister to play with was just too funny. Boys are just great fun!
