When there's not time to blog...

When there isn't time to blog, its because days are full, Mom is in demand, and sometimes being and doing is so much more compelling than taking the time to write about what's been done. Yet despite limited time, stopping to pause and to reflect on the chapter and season of our lives, often helps me to clarify my vision and remember the gifts, the challenges of the moments we are given, and the grace present to help us through.

I have struggled with burnout at the end of this gray cold winter and light, lovely spring is just so welcome as a wonderful transformation. Ohio with it's deciduous trees and rolling hills is so beautiful in the spring and fall. This is really important since winter and summer can be so extreme and winter so very desolate at times (especially when you come from a temperate, evergreen climate). So as we drink in the baby green, the beautiful buds and the newfound color, and look forward to the warm seasons ahead.
