A Good Christmas

Joyful hearts from our deep faith in the God of love becoming man for us, becoming a small child to draw us all near. Beautiful Church, truth proclaimed, heavenly music, our very own son serving on the alter, our toddlers' and small children's eyes full of wonder. Each person in our family being well.  Dear sister and brother-in-law visiting us, sharing their life and love. Peaceful home, room to share, food to share, time to share. Time to relax, and to rest. Learning how to give and watching the joy of giving emerging in our children, and enjoying the generosity of others in receiving gifts ourselves. Hearts full of prayers for others, and trusting in God's grace for healing the hurts that are too big to mention. The many intangible gifts we wanted dearly and cherish so much, came to us this Christmas season. They couldn't be simply purchased, wrapped, or even asked for, but they were found in our home and made our Christmas this year so special. We are so thankful, for grace, for love, for our family, and for our friends. Christmas is meant to be good, even wonderful, and with a little preparation and lots of grace this year it was.
