Attending the local Children's Ballet performance of The Nutcracker was one of the highlights of December. We enjoyed the beauty, the fun and all the hard work, from the front row. Johnny and Annelise were loving their first live ballet performance and have since read and re-read the picture book and acted out scenes at home. It was inspiring to see our friends and other little kids on stage and really made Annelise want to learn ballet. Johnny too would like to be up on stage, pretty much all the time. And everyone dreamed this night of traveling to the land of sweets, of dancing girls and nutcrackers and beautiful music.
